Two Nights in Nha Trang

We weren't originally planning on stopping in Nha Trang but it was on our way to our next destination and we'd heard that the nightlife made it worth stopping by for a day or two. We took another night bus from Hoi An and I actually got a decent night sleep. 

Because Nha Trang is on a beach, this city is a popular tourist spot for both Vietnamese and foreigners.  It  happens to be a huge vacation destination for Russians who for some reason are very easy to pick out of a crowd.  It was no Thai island but the beach was still very nice.  Our first day there we rented a small sailboat and Andrew took me on a very nice two hour sail. 

The second day we rented a motorbike and explored the city (we may or may not have gotten a little lost and ran out of gas) . One of the main attraction is the hot spring mud baths which claims to help cure all sorts of conditions.   We ended up at a resort that was full of Vietnamese tourists that had a spa dedicated to mud baths.  It was actually very relaxing and soothing and my hair has never felt so conditioned!

The nightlife was definitely a highlight of the Nha Trang.  There were a few main bars full of backpackers with free (water downed) drinks that stayed open until sunrise. At this point we have been on the same route as alot of backpackers and usually know at least a few people at the bars whatever city we are in.

All in all I'm happy stopped in Nha trang but didn't need I stay more than 2 nights.
